Made from race-proven materials, this exhaust features a black-coated titanium outer sleeve on the muffler and a newly designed end cap, which, like the bracket, is also made of lightweight titanium. It features a stainless-steel connecting pipe and muffler inner structure. Weighing 39.8% (1.6 kg) less than the standard stock exhaust, it delivers performance gains in the mid- and high-rev ranges. During development, the engineers focused on throttle response and rideability, resulting in an increase in power of 0.7 kW (0.9 hp) and a torque increase of 1.3 Nm, both at 5,700 rpm, compared to a standard stock system and tested on Akrapovič’s in-house dyno.
This Euro 5 exhaust system has been designed to meet EC/ECE type approval requirements while delivering better performance and a deep, sporty sound. It’s a simple plug-and-play installation that requires no remapping and is fully compatible with the original Honda side panniers.
