Akrapovic Optional Header (SS) E-H7R7 for Honda XL750 Transalp 2023 to present.
The Optional Header (SS) is designed for owners seeking improved performance and weight reduction for motorcycles already equipped with an Akrapovič Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust. The Optional Header (SS) is made of high-grade stainless steel and offers a 53.5% (1.8 kg) weight reduction compared to the standard stock header. Designed with larger-diameter tubes to allow for improved gas flow with less restriction, the catalytic converter from the stock header is removed to further increase flow.
When equipped with the Slip-On Line (Titanium), power is increased by 1.6 kW (2.2 hp) at 9,500 rpm, with a torque increase of 3.5 Nm at 6,700 rpm, compared to a Honda XL750 Transalp equipped with the standard stock exhaust system and tested on Akrapovič’s in-house dyno. Producing a deep, throaty sound that fully showcases the twin-cylinder engine, the Optional Header (SS) is an easy plug-and-play installation; remapping is recommended but not required. This is a racetrack-oriented part and, as such, is intended for use only on closed-course competition circuits.
Installing the optional header will invalidate the EC/ECE certificate for the Slip-On Line (Titanium).
When installing the Racing Line exhaust system on Euro5+ motorbikes (2 lambda sensors), the engine check light will appear after identifying a deviation in the stock catalytic converter´s parameters. This can be resolved using a lambda box eliminator or an ECU remap.
