This exhaust system features a lightweight titanium end cap, muffler bracket, and muffler outer sleeve, while stainless steel is used for the link pipe and the muffler’s internal structure. The exhaust also features a carbon-fiber heat shield on the link pipe that protects riders and their gear.
Additional strength has been added to the surface of the muffler through a specially designed profile, which enhances durability and gives it a sporty look—as seen on rally-raid motorcycles. The exhaust produces a deep, sporty sound from the 946.2 cc engine. During testing on Akrapovič’s in-house dyno, performance gains of +1.3 kW (+1.7 hp) at 5,000 rpm in power and +1.8 Nm at 4,000 rpm in torque were recorded when compared to the standard system.
The plug-and-play installation means no remapping is necessary. The exhaust is EC/ECE type-approved and Euro 5+ compliant. It is compatible with stock panniers and features an Akrapovič logo sticker on the muffler.
